Inglot Eyeshadow Palette–Freedom System

The Inglot palette was something that I had wanted to treat myself to for a long time. I got some birthday money last year and finally took the plunge! :) One of the hardest things about buying this was choosing the shades I wanted – I knew I wanted some neutral, matte shades but there is a huge selection to choose from! And, I ordered them online so you don’t always get a good representation of the shades so I spent hours looking through swatches on other beauty blogs.

Anyway, I finally narrowed it down to the ten that I wanted (I wanted a nice big ten pan palette to start with!). You can also get the palettes in smaller sizes, and larger ones, as well as being able to get them for blushes, lip glosses and powders.

I absolutely adore the design of the palette – the see-through lid allows you to see which shades are in the palette which is super handy if you have more than one (if your lucky enough that is!). It also slides rather than lifts, the corners are magnet so it stays on really well but slides off really easily when you come to use your palette. It’s sturdy and well made, and it has so far managed to stay in one piece around my clumsiness!

The palette works out a lot cheaper than MAC eyeshadow palettes; to fill this Inglot 10-pan palette (including the palette itself) it costs just £44, as opposed to the £46.50 it would cost you to fill just a 4-pan palette at MAC! Amazing! AND an Inglot eyeshadow has between 2.7 and 3.2 grams of product (depending on the finish), whereas MAC eyeshadows have just 1.5 grams of product – that’s almost twice as much product in an Inglot eyeshadow! Work that one out!!

The eyeshadows themselves are fantastic, by far the best I have ever tried (I prefer them to MAC eyeshadows!). They are really pigmented, the colour pay off is incredible and I adore the texture of them – they feel almost creamy to touch and very luxurious. They last well all day long, especially with a primer underneath, and the colour stays true.

I love the shades that I chose – a choice of matte and shimmer shades that I know I will get a lot of use out of.

I got M318 and P453 as highlight shades – one matte, one shimmer. P407 is a bit different and reminds me of MAC Expensive Pink which I why I liked this one. I chose M339 and M348 to use when doing a classic smokey eye. I got the other 5 brown shades for everyday use, I love these colours both worn alone and blended together in different combinations for gorgeous neutral looks – P409 is the shimmery shade of the 5 browns.

I absolutely love this palette and I know that I will go back to Inglot for eyeshadows time and time again now. I cannot fault them, they are by far the best eyeshadows I have ever used and are such fantastic quality for the prices they come at.

Palettes start from £3.20 (this particular size is £8), and the eyeshadow refills are £3.60. You can buy items for the Inglot Freedom System here online.

Have you tried the Inglot Freedom System? Anything other than the eyeshadows? And which shades are you loving?
