Shopping The Stash #2

The first week’s shopping the stash went really well for me, I enjoyed using different products to usual and I can see that it is already helping me have a clear out/save money! So, here’s some different products for week two…

 

FACE

MAC MINERALISE SKIN FINISH IN LIGHT YEAR From the limited edition ‘Heavenly Creatures’ collection from last year, if I use this is tend to use it as a highlight, or use the darker shades as eyeshadow. I don’t use it very often but for no particular reason, so this week I’m going to get some use out of it.

17 HIDE & CHIC EYE BRIGHTENING CONCEALER Not the best concealer that I have tried and this is the only reason it is stuck at the bottom of the draw – it’s good enough for everyday and has a lightweight texture.

 

EYES

NO7 PALETTE IN PRETTY POSEY I’m not sure that No7 still does this palette anymore, but I used to use it all the time. It has a pretty range of colours which compliment the MAC skin finish that I will be using this week.

17 LIQUID EYELINER I usually stick to gel liners, but seeing as I haven’t had much use out of this, I am going to try and enjoy the challenge of using a liquid liner!

AVON SUPER DRAMA MASCARA A great everyday mascara, but I seem to have so many on the go – I would love to use one up at some point before they go out of date!

 

LIPS

THE BODY SHOP LIP STAIN IN BRONZE GLIMMER This was free in an issue of Marie Claire magazine last year – I get on with it better as a lip stain than a cheek one. It’s a bit of a different colour to what I usually wear everyday but I thought it would go with the skin finish/eye shadow palette and needs using up before it goes off!

ESTEE LAUDER LIPGLOSS IN GARNET DESIRE Another freebie, this one was a gift with purchase at the Estee Lauder counter a while back. I adore the shade, it is a bit shimmery and suits my skin tone.
