Antipodes is a brand that is relatively new to me – they are a natural and organic skincare brand based in New Zealand. I love the idea of using products as natural as possible in my skincare regime; from experience I know that my skin looks and feels best when using more natural products. This facial oil is actually certified organic and 100% of the ingredients in it are from natural origins. I had been after a new facial oil for a while so when I discovered this, I knew I had to try it.

Made up of avocado, rosehip, and jojoba oils, it nourishes and hydrates skin to leave it looking healthy and radiant. I have been using this before moisturiser in my evening skincare regime, and I have noticed my skin looking smoother and almost plumper each morning. It has been an absolute saviour during the winter weather as my skin has a tendency to dry out and become sore when the weather is colder; however, I have experienced none of that since using this oil! My skin feels and looks altogether better for using it and it feels very comfortable too.

Rosehip oil is fantastic for scarring, redness and other issues where your skin may have different tones. I have noticed a huge difference in the redness of my skin which used to really bug me, however I feel that it takes less makeup in a morning to cover it than it did before – my skin is significantly less red and irritated, and instead has a much more even tone all over.

I can, however, suffer from an oily t-zone so I was a little worried whether this would make it any oiler – but is hasn’t at all! I would happily recommend this for all skin types if you want your skin to appear smoother and more supple. It is magnificent for dry skin, but doesn’t play havoc with oily skin if you are using it in an evening as part of your usual skincare regime.

I really love this oil as part of my skincare regime, the difference that it makes is wonderful and it feels so nice to use too – just a few drops before applying my usual moisturiser makes my skin look and feel smoother, softer and more supple.

You can get a bottle for yourself for around £18.99 from Feel Unique here.
